The Bible Institute uniquely allows the local church to prioritize the development of ministry leaders without sending them away for residential studies by offering courses that are close and cost-effective.
All course offerings, whether in Biblical Studies, Theology, History, or Practical Ministry, are steeped in the view that the Bible "has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy" (Baptist Faith & Message 2000).
The Institute is the direct result of the relationship among Holston churches. It exists to help local churches come together and develop a uniquely skilled set of pastors and ministry leaders who know the Word as well as they know the churches in which they'll be serving.
