Dr. Hershael York
Dr. Hershael York served as Senior Pastor at Buck Run Baptist Church in Kentucky for 20 years. After leading the church through a successful pastoral transition, he stepped down in January 2024. Hershael and his wife Tanya remain members at Buck Run and he now regularly travels to preach and encourage pastors. He is also the Dean of the School of Theology and the Victor and Louise Lester Professor of Christian Preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Tanya York
A ministry wife of over 40 years, Tanya York is a member of Buck Run Baptist Church, where her husband served as Senior Pastor for 20 years. York teaches regularly at the Seminary Wives Institute at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, which provides Biblically-based and practically-applied teaching to the wives of seminary students.
